network design
Design: I can design an entire network for your home or business. After a careful analysis of your needs, I will provide a concise rendering and product listing for you to give to your contractor for wiring & placement of technology. I can then come back to handle the terminations and configurations of the network.
service calls
Slow gaming? Buffering? Speaker not working or TV not streaming? I will troubleshoot and identify the problem with your network and/or AV component*, correcting it on the spot or if needed, provide an estimate to return with products to correct the issues.
I can also step in where you purchased a DIY electronics project but are not getting the results you expected.
*Note: I cannot repair TVs or other electronics. You must go to the manufacturer for them to send a certified repair person.

While I spent many years installing TVs and sound systems, I now have to limit installs to components that can be installed by one person.* I can also troubleshoot and resolve problems with systems as we have worked with all brands and can make changes and install additional components (i.e. new blu-ray, sound bar, wireless device, etc.) to make your electronics systems run smoothly.

structured wiring clean-up
If your rack or structured wiring box looks like a rats nest, I can clean it up, identify & mark cables and remove any unnecessary wiring. This is a large rack, but I work with small and medium sized wall mounted structured wiring boxes or even add one where needed.

Home & Office Network Solutions started operations in 2003 in Northern Virginia to provide expert residential and small business networking support services. Upon relocating to Wilmington North Carolina in May of 2022, I have also moved the business, with some downsizing of services from what was offered up north. H&ONS is serving the New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties and cities within.

As the intenet has become embedded in Audio Visual (AV) equipment over the years I have incorporated my design, installation and service offerings to cover that family of equipment. I can troubleshoot and resolve most problems with TVs, speakers, etc. I will even mount TVs. using quality mounting products.*
